A major update to the Roster Optimizer has released. It produces more accurate lineup recommendations and is more intuitive to setup and maintain, leading to more reliable suggestions.

Why this matters

If you are using Weekly Offnights but not yet tried Roster Optimizer, now is a great time to start! RO takes the logic of Weekly Offnights a step further by not only looking at Fantasy Value, games available and Offnights for players, but further refines recommendations based on your league settings, roster order, and player eligibility.

It can save you time and help you make better decisions about who to start, sit, trade for or pick up from waivers.

What Changed

• Fewer bench surprises: A more accurate and thorough algorithm for placing players in the most appropriate slot means more accurate analysis of your team, and stronger recommendations.
• Roster Ordering. Put the players you would most likely bench at the bottom of your roster and the optimizer will prefer to bench them when making recommendations.
• Compact Initial View: If you only have a minute to glance at recommendations, the new optimizer shows a concise summary of your player contributions, along with recommendations for streamer options that complement your roster.
• Robustness: the optimizer had some edge casess which could cause it to crash which have been resolved.
• Setup: Put your league settings at the start and Roster Optimizer will suggest appropriate defaults eligibility for added players. Date, Weight and Ownership preferences inform the summary of stats for your team, then inform individualized recommendations

Roster order determines who sits and who starts, making it easier to spot a drop candidate.

Personalized pickup suggestions

Know how many Active Games a player will add to your roster before picking them up. Spend less time figuring out which players complement your roster and avoid streamers who won't play.
